Conjugated estrogens are a mixture of estrogen hormones extracted from pregnant mares' urine or synthesized from plant sources. FDA-approved to treat moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms of menopause, vulvar and vaginal atrophy, and to prevent osteoporosis.

Reduces frequency and severity of hot flashes by approximately 80-90% compared to placebo in clinical trials
